about the product
This is an RA Studio special made with inspiration from the day and night effect. While one side of the dress is dark, the other side has a lighter color. The dark side represents night, while the lighter side represents day. This dress design is hand made by using 8 different block designs. These 8 different block prints are used to create the over printed effect on the fabric. We used 3 different colors while doing the block print.
This is a long dress that comes with an inner. The main dress has a large armhole and neck line where as the inner has a normal neck line and arm hole in a solid color. This gives a classic double layer look to the dress. The dress is symmetric on both sides, however there is an extended trail on both sides to give it the extra Indian flare. The neck style is a Deep U neck and there is a pocket in the right side which is in a contrast color.
The sides of the dress is enhanced with a Kantha stitch from West Bengal. The corners are finished with little thread tassels.
