R.A Studio by Ritu Agnihotri at Designer Atelier, Janpath, New Delhi

R.A Studio, the label by designer Ritu Agnihotri, is now showcasing at Designer Atelier at the Central Cottage Industries Emporium on Janpath, New Delhi. From 12 September to 1 October 2026, we invite you to experience the label in person as part of a celebration of Indian handlooms, heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Indian craftsmanship, contemporary expression

Designer Atelier brings together traditional textile skills and present-day design, with handloom weaves, prints and contemporary silhouettes across the exhibition. The showcase creates space for visitors to discover Indian craft through the work of designers, weavers and artisans.

According to the Press Information Bureau announcement, the exhibition was inaugurated on 12 September by Shri Akhilesh Kumar, DDG (Textiles), Ministry of Textiles and Chairman, CCIC, and Shri Bimal Gopalachari, Managing Director, CCIC.

R.A Studio’s participation sits within this wider conversation: how familiar textile traditions can find expression in clothes for contemporary life. The occasion is a chance to bring our approach to print, colour and silhouette into a shared space devoted to Indian design.

Rangrez at Designer Atelier

Most of the R.A Studio pieces at the showcase are from Rangrez, our festive collection. Dresses, tunics and tops offer different ways to bring print, colour and considered detail into your celebrations. Here are three styles to introduce you to the collection.

A maroon dress with a graceful flare

The Maroon Chintz Block Print Flared Cotton Dress combines a flared silhouette with a zig-zag border and contrast cuffs. It is a piece to build a festive outfit around, letting the print and shape lead.

A royal blue tunic with hand embroidery

The Royal Blue Dupion Silk Tunic brings hand embroidery to the neckline and sleeves. Its rich colour offers a dressier direction for family gatherings and evening celebrations.

A printed top to make your own

The Blue Zig-Zag Block Print Cotton Crop Top has a sleeveless princess-line shape and front buttons. Pair it with your own high-waisted trousers or a skirt for a festive look built from separates.

One-off hand-embroidered jackets, available in person

Alongside Rangrez, we have brought a selection of exquisite one-off hand-embroidered jackets to Designer Atelier. These special pieces are normally available only at our store and are not available to buy online. For this showcase, they are also available to discover and purchase in person at Janpath.
