Measure your body · compare with the garment chart

  1. 1

    Shoulder

Measure across your back, from one shoulder point to the other.

  2. 2

    Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and comfortably close.

  3. 3

    Waist

Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tight.

  4. 4

    Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. A soft tape and a mirror help keep it level.

The important distinction

Body size is not garment size.

The numbers below are measured on the finished R.A Studio piece. Your body measurement is a starting point; the garment may need room for movement and for the silhouette you prefer. For the most reliable comparison, measure a similar garment you already like and check the product’s own size chart.

Body

Take your shoulder, bust, waist and hip measurements.

Garment

Compare those with the relevant finished-garment dimensions below.

Fit

Consider the cut, fabric and how relaxed or close you want it to feel.

One outfit, two checks

Choosing a co-ord set.

A co-ord has a top and a bottom, so read both charts before choosing. The product size-chart popup shows these same two sets of measurements together.

01

Check the top.

Use the top chart’s shoulder, bust and hip measurements for the upper piece.

See top chart ↗
02

Check the bottom.

Use the bottom chart’s waist, hip and full length for the lower piece.

03

Consider both.

If the two pieces suggest different sizes, ask us about that style’s cut before you order.

A few common questions

A little more clarity.

What if I am between two sizes?

The best choice depends on the garment’s cut and how much room you like. Compare its measurements with a similar piece you own, or ask us about the particular style before ordering.

Can I match my body bust directly to the bust number in the chart?

Not necessarily. The chart gives the finished garment’s dimension. Compare it with a garment you like wearing, and consider how much room that silhouette needs for comfort and movement.

Are all R.A Studio products cut the same way?

Shape and fabric can change how a piece feels. Use this guide to understand the measurements, then check the size chart and product details for the exact piece you are considering.
