Grey Mangalgiri Hand-Embroidered Kurta & Bell Pant Co-ord Set

A grey Mangalgiri base meets playful finishing in this hand-embroidered kurta and pant co-ord set from R.A Studio. Differently coloured buttons, coloured buttonholes and cotton bells introduce small contrasts across the outfit. Touches of hand embroidery connect these details, giving the coordinated pieces an individual character.

Both pieces are made from 100% cotton with a Mangalgiri handloom weave from the Mangalgiri region. Cotton is the material; Mangalgiri identifies the weaving tradition.

The kurta

The front-open, medium-length grey Mangalgiri kurta features a high collar and three-quarter sleeves. The sleeve edges are finished with pleating and decorated with cotton-bell detailing. Coloured buttonholes and buttons in different colours bring visual interest to the front, with hand-embroidered touches completing the finish.

The pant

The pant has a band at the bottom hem, finished with a pleat and a side placket. Buttons and cotton bells adorn this hem detail. As on the kurta, coloured buttonholes, differently coloured buttons and hand embroidery continue across the pant, creating a relationship between the sleeve finish and the decorated hems.
